A light dinner for hot times.
Diet Type: Low Fat
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound beef sirloin steak
  • 1/2 cup non-fat plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon Curry powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup julienned Jicama
  • 1 cup julienned cucumber
  • 1/2 cup julienned red bell pepper
  • 2 bunches watercress, tough stems removed
  • Serves: 4
    Cooking Time: Under 30 minutes
    Instructions:
    Trim excess fat from steak. Broil steak 4 inches from heat, 5-7 minutes per side for rare or until desired doneness. Slice steak across the grain into thin slices. In a small bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, honey, garlic, Curry and salt. For each serving, arrange steak on a bed of watercress and place Jicama, cucumber and red bell pepper around the edges. Drizzle the dressing over all.
